Staying safe off-piste, improving technique and making friends along the way: these are our aims as we head into the coming winter. FAI brings children aged eight and up, teenagers, young adults and parents together in a community that sees freeriding as a sport, a learning opportunity and a shared experience. Group coaching is at the heart of our programme. Here, young riders learn not only technique but, above all, how to read terrain correctly and assess alpine hazards – as a group, with plenty of fun and a passion for powder.
