For their new baselayer collection, Salewa's textile engineers are using the new Responsive technology. By incorporating natural minerals into the yarn, the fast-drying, soft Zebru Responsive baselayers support moisture wicking and efficient body temperature regulation during intense activities. The material stores body heat like a south-facing rock face that absorbs the sun's energy and slowly releases it. Made in Italy and weighing around 150 grams, the Zebru Responsive baselayers are based on fine merino wool combined with the innovative technology. The result: increased performance and faster body recovery.

Sella 3L Powertex Responsive
The Sella 3L Powertex Responsive jacket was specifically developed for alpine mountaineering and ski touring, making it not only waterproof, windproof, and breathable, but also particularly robust. The 3-layer jacket consists of two PFC-free Powertex outer fabrics: a polyester laminate construction with 10% wool, and a laminate with integrated Salewa Responsive technology. The inside of the jacket is treated with a thermoreactive print made of minerals, which provides additional warmth to the body and thus creates the conditions for better performance. This is possible because the minerals absorb the body's naturally emitted infrared radiation and re-emit it over time. This way, one does not cool down, and blood circulation, oxygen transport, and regeneration are improved.
