The TÖDI climbing skins are Colltex's best-selling model. This is because the TÖDI offers an optimal combination of glide, grip, robustness, and pack size. These are climbing skins suitable for all snow conditions and weather. When not in use, we employ a protective mesh to safeguard the hotmelt adhesive layer. Colltex adds further coatings: Colltex Edge to prevent fraying and Colltex Drybase to inhibit water absorption. The specialised weaving technology also makes the climbing skins very high-quality and abrasion-resistant.

Thanks to their 100% natural fibre construction, they offer perfect glide, particularly in fresh, dry, and cold snow. Wear and tear may be slightly higher on hard, icy snow. The Vreneli climbing skins are the result of our patented Profibre technology. Uphill grip and glide properties, which are typically opposing characteristics, are maintained at a high level. The Profibre fibre is highly abrasion-resistant and remains like new even after thousands of vertical metres of use. The climbing skins are lightweight and pack down to a small size. The RACE are arguably the fastest climbing skins on the market. Their 100% mohair fibre construction has been further optimised for perfect glide. The trade-off is slightly less grip. When not in use, we employ a protective mesh to shield the hotmelt adhesive layer. Colltex incorporates additional coatings: Colltex-Edge to prevent fraying and Colltex-Drybase to inhibit water absorption. Furthermore, the RACE climbing skins are specifically woven for even better glide.
