80 m range and voice navigation: New Focus Voice and Focus Pro avalanche transceivers set standards

45 years after the launch of the legendary F2 avalanche transceiver, Ortovox continues its success story as a Mountain Safety Pioneer in winter 2026/27 with the two new Focus Voice and Focus Pro avalanche transceivers. The Focus Voice meets the highest demands of experienced ski tourers and, thanks to its ease of use, is also suitable for occasional participants. The Focus Pro, meanwhile, is aimed at mountain guides and rescue personnel, with additional features for professional use.

At 80 m, both avalanche transceivers offer one of the widest search strip widths on the market, providing ideal conditions for a fast and efficient search. Patented voice navigation provides maximum support, particularly for beginners. Together with integrated interference protection and Smart Antenna Technology, which automatically switches to the best transmitting antenna based on the position of the buried person, the two devices stand for maximum protection on tours in the winter mountains. Both devices will be available in stores from September 2026, priced at €380 and €480 respectively.
