New Ortovox Safety Academy courses are online

The Ortovox Safety Academy is one of the largest training initiatives in mountain sports and provides knowledge for responsible decision-making in winter mountain terrain. It is aimed at winter sports enthusiasts who want to refresh or expand their knowledge of risk management and mountain safety. The range extends from practical courses at 35 partner mountain schools to digital learning resources such as Lab Snow and Lab Ice and compact guidebooks. The Ortovox Safety Academy presents current teaching practices in an accessible, practical way. In doing so, the Munich-based mountain sports equipment supplier combines functional equipment with sound training, placing the protection of mountaineers and mountains at the heart of its approach.

English-language and women-only courses are also available. The new dates for winter 26/27 are now online.
